Founded in Tokyo in 1998 as part of Magazine House’s editorial portfolio, Casa BRUTUS positions itself as a “Life Design Magazine,” extending the scope of design journalism into the broader terrain of everyday living.

Its editorial practice moves fluidly across architecture, interiors, art, fashion, food, and travel, treating these not as discrete fields but as interconnected expressions of how life is structured and perceived. The publication alternates between accessibility and depth—at times surveying widely recognised cultural figures and objects, at others narrowing its focus into detailed, archival-like features. Since the launch of its digital platform in 2014, this approach has expanded into a continuous stream of content, combining the slower rhythm of print with the immediacy of online publishing.

Within the Japanese media landscape, Casa BRUTUS distinguishes itself by framing design as a lived condition rather than a specialised discipline. Its subject is not design in isolation, but the way objects, spaces, and cultural references accumulate into a particular idea of daily life—one that remains open to both high culture and the ordinary.

Once your order is placed, items are sourced directly from each brand and delivered to our team. After receiving all items in your order, we prepare and ship your package internationally.

We operate on a batch shipping schedule, with dispatches twice per week:

• Wednesday
• Friday

Your order will be shipped in the next available batch once all items have been received and prepared.

Please note that some items may be made to order, which can extend the processing time before shipment. Estimated lead times are indicated on the product page when applicable.

Throughout the process, we provide status updates at each stage — from order confirmation to final shipment.

All international shipments are sent using tracked shipping methods only, including EMS and standard international services, depending on destination and selected option at checkout.
